What Do I Need to Know Before My First Visit?
 Bring any x-rays, reports and test results relating to your problem with you to the doctor's office. Also bring notes on questions you want to ask the doctor.
Be prepared to discuss:
 when the problem started;
 how it started;
 how long you have had it;
 what makes the problem worse or better;
 treatments you have tried so far and how well they worked; and
 any other information you believe is relevant.
If your health insurance company requires a referral before treatment, please obtain one. Bring your insurance card with you and know the amount of your deductible and co-pay.
